EMI standard

Many electronic devices have been being used in domestic and industrial applications; it is found that electromagnetic waves generated by these devices interfere with other electronic devices.

The interference like this is called electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Each country has created its own domestic standards for EMI based on the standards of CISPR, a special committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

These standards include VCCI (Japan), FCC (USA), and FN55022 (EU).
